At Longevita Pilates and Yoga Studio, our mission is to bring positive change to each individual through Pilates, Yoga, and other fitness regimes despite their current physical abilities or age. We want to enable our clients to find the best balance of strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. This balance of mind and body allows our clients to improve their lifestyles, achieve their goals; be it fitness or rehabilitation with life changing results.
We focus on functional fitness that will compliment any activity or fitness program/goals. Along with Pilates training, we feature exercises that mimic natural movements, by combining strength, balance, and core in a way that typically leads to better muscular balance and joint stability. By incorporating Pilates, Yoga, Barre, and other fitness regimes, this can help our clients improve their cardiovascular fitness, lose weight, and continue rehabilitating after an injury. We also specialize in prenatal and postnatal pilates as well as the active aging population.
Our specialized equipment includes Pilates large equipment which consists of Reformer, Cadillac, and Stability Chair. We incorporate other functional equipment including TRX Suspension Training™ and TRX Rip Trainer™, dumbbells and kettlebells, fitness bands, BOSUs™, stability balls, Tabata Training, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), and more!
We offer all types of Yoga including Iyengar, Hatha, Flow, and Yoga for Special Needs, which is known for the use of props like blocks, harnesses, cushions, and straps. We focus on alignment.. Our yoga encompasses gentle stretches, breathing and relaxation techniques, and simple movements to increase range of motion of the major joints, and is suitable for all ages and levels of students. Our Yoga instructors are Registered Yoga Teach (RYT-500) with several years of experience. Some of the major focuses are safety, alignment, and using yoga as both prevention and healing from illness, injury, aches, and pains.
